Tony Vaughn
Born in Greensboro, North Carolina Tony Vaughn's career as a bassist extends over more than a 20-year period with national and international credits performing both live and in the studio with many R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock and country artist. He is well known for his ability to find the heart of any groove. Tony's concert credits include: The Isley Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Ohio Players, Natalie Cole, Richard Pryor, James Brown, Rob Monsey of Carly Simon, B.B. King, Bobby Blue Bland. His session credits include LA sessions for CBS and RCA, Tom Scott, The Brecker Brothers, Earth, Wind & Fires horn section, Norman Connors and LA super session guitarist Michael Thomson. He has also been featured as an actor in supporting roles on various television shows while living in Japan. |

Frank Wilkins
(Piano/Keyboard/Organ) jazzmatician and consummate music director andtamong national and international venues and with vocalists, is also a multimedia producer/director, music composer, arranger and experienced private instructor. Recognition and awards include The Artists' Foundation, Boston, Composition Fellowship, Berklee College Of Music and The Hank Jones Jazz Masters Award. Playing virtually every major jazz and blues venue in Boston and throughout New England, Wilkins has accompanied Angela Bofill, Tiger Okoshi, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Kevin Eubanks, Archie Shepp and Rebecca Parris, to name a few. “Mr. Wilkins' gorgeous playing on Misty literally leaves the crowd gasping!” states Eric Jackson, WGBH-FM. Mark Shilansky
(Piano, Keyboards, Co-Producer) a member of the Berklee School of Music Faculty. Mark is a recording artist/composer/arranger/songwriter etc. that works with some of the most talented cutting edge international artists as well as his own self titled group. The artists he’s worked with include Luciana Souza (grammy-nominated brazilian jazz vocalist), Jane Nazarian (member of the New York Voices), and the legendary Clark Terry to mention just a few. Mark has been recording and performing with Tony for the last 3 years. |

Herman Johnson
Saxophonist, Herman Johnson was born in Philadelphia, PA. He then came to Boston, MA and attended The Berklee College of Music from ‘73 to ‘77. Herman was an Assistant Professor from ‘78 to ‘96. Mr. Johnson’s passionate playing is as visually majestic to the eyes as it is pleasing to the ears. He’s played with legends King Curtis, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Stevie Wonder. He’s a member of Tony’s group and leads his own band.

John Hyde
(piano & keyboards): Boston area resident John Hyde has been burning up the keys for over 40 years. He is an accomplished soloist, accompanist, composer, arranger, musical director and ensemble musician with an impressively large repertoire. He can turn it on for anything, from jazz, blues, R&B, folk, country, classical and musical theater.
John works every summer with New York's Lincoln Center, composing and playing in their outdoor performance series. He is a staple of the East Coast music scene, gracing a multitude of bands over the years. He has worked with Bobby Hebb , Maria Muldaur,Whoopie Goldberg, Harry Belafonte, and Room Full of Blues as well as Tony Gallo. |

Steve Rose
(drums, percussion) an underrated musician with an immense understanding of pop/rock/r&b/jazz music. Steve has played w/various bands around the country including The Air Force Concert & Jazz Bands. Steve has been recording and performing with Tony for the last six years.

Mike Mele
Mike Mele has been playing in the Boston area since the mid-80s, when he arrived here from New York to study with the reknowned jazz guru Charlie Banacos and guitarist Garrison Fewell. He attended the Berklee College of Music, where he met Ken, and has been working with the Ken Clark Organ Trio since its inception in 1992. He has worked with many local jazz artists, including Michelle Willson’s Evil Gal Festival Orchestra. His style is derived from a combination of bebop, blues, funk, and R&B |

Robin McElhatten
Robin McElhatten (voice) is a graduate of The Berklee College of Music as well as a current assistant professor in Voice Department at Berklee. Robin is originally from Rochester, New York where her family still resides. She is a “National Foundation for the Arts” award recipient in the jazz vocal category. Robin has also been on tour as a featured jazz/r&b performer with The Boston Pops Orchestra and Michael McDonald. Robin's newly released CD has received critical aclaim and charted high on Amazon.com

Bill Vint
(tenor saxophone, flute), Tenor saxophonist Bill Vint, originally from Tucson, Arizona, began playing with jazz, blues and latin in local nightclubs while still in high school. Bill attended Berklee where he studied woodwinds with Bill Pierce, Gary Burton, etc. as well as performed with Herb Pomeroy’s Jazz Orchestra. Bill has performed with such major artists as keyboard pioneer Joe Zawinal, guitarist John Abercrombie, saxophonist Steve Marcus and vocalist Bobby Caldwell. He also has toured with the Harry James and Jimmy Dorsey Orchestras and performed with various groups at the Montreaux, Nice, and North Sea Jazz Festivals. |

Rick Hammett
(trumpet) Rick Hammett has been a professional musician for 35 years and performs in a wide variety of musical settings. He has recorded jingles for Ford, The Boston Red Sox, Chronicle, Stop and Shop and others. He has performed on national television playing 1st trumpet with the Boston Pops (Manhatten Transfer, Tony Bennett). He has also played 1st trumpet for the National Tours of Cats, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sunset Blvd, The Producers, Bob Fosse's Dancin, and many others and is currently the musical contractor for the Colonial Theater in Boston. When not in the theater pit, he is a busy free- lance musician working with everyone from Tony Gallo to Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles. |
