New Euro Release "Maestros of Cool" a Compilation of  Steely Dan tunes recorded & performed by Various Artists.

Track #7- Black Cow, by Tony Gallo

Released by ESC Records.

Ulrich Vormehr- ESC Records (Germany) Tony Gallo is a singer out of the male €œsaloon singer€ class who takes a Jazz-pop direction on his debut Record Something To Say, that is a lot of fun. Innovative interpretation and vocal tones coated in class describe the contents of Tony Gallo€™s work. Gallo has a strong tenor to baritone range with the right amount of style that works well within the variety of music he and his flexible band plays. In covering jazz, R&B, and pop covers the selections are given stylish treatments that exude familiarity, yet still pronounce an air of freshness. Along with a group of multifaceted musicians who with every cut compliment the panache of the project, this effort brings one back to that Bourbon Street feel after midnight, very smooth with a clean delivery.  Here€™s a fresh take on Steely Dan's ever cool €œBlack Cow,€ which is complete with tight horns, soulful background vocals, and just the right vibe.

Thank You to Ulrich Vormehr.
